Tonight we had fried chicken. Our fried chicken. It was a huge bird. I had to cut the thighs into two pieces and the breasts into 3 pieces in order to get the right size servings. I must honestly say that I couldn't tell a big difference between our birds and store bought birds except that our bird was very very moist.
The picture below shows half of the chicken fried. I still had another half in the oven keeping warm.

i'm disappointed. i have always taken you to be scrupulously honest. a little TOO honest, if anything. (lol) but now all that is shattered.
because that ain't no chicken. turkey, perhaps. but i'm going with swan. my guess is that joe shot a swan and y'all are to embarrassed to tell the world.

Well, our friend who helped butcher them kept saying, "these aren't chickens, they are turkeys!"
