Yesterday was Nathan's 11th birthday. It started with Nathan making our traditional birthday breakfast - chocolate chip pancakes. I didn't have any regular chocolate chips so we had to make do with vanilla chips that I had in the freezer.
We went to the pool this afternoon and had a great time. Then we rushed home to frost the cake.
For anyone not absorbed in Star Wars, that is a light saber. Here's the birthday boy opening presents. He got his dearest wish - a Lego XWing fighter. It took him all morning today to put it together.
