The Last Blueberries

On Tuesday we went blueberry picking at our favorite blueberry farm. Due to the cooler weather we've had, this will be the last day for picking. We got out there right at 8 am. The berries were big and full and there were lots of them.

We picked a little over 20 pounds. This is only one of the two containers I filled with blueberries.

And for other garden news, we harvested one of our tromboncino squashs and fried it up for supper. It is actually cooler to look at than to eat. I'm going to try it in a stir fry and see if we like it any better.

I didn't realize anywhere still had berries ... do you think they would still have some on Friday? We just used up the last of our 19 lbs today. I should've gone again earlier.

great squash, too!
