Winter Wonderland

We've had a couple of beautiful snowy days here. These are the best of pictures taken.

The chickens also like the snow. They get a couple of pans of snow a day.

I finished my second fabric rag rug.

And tonight we're having an apple galette. I had a fun time making it and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

The rag rug looks beautiful, I've never seen one so nicely done and un-rag-like!!

I agree with Kim...that is the neatest, trimmest rag rug I've ever seen. I love the colors. Where do you plan to put it?

The apple galette looks like something my sister-in-law served over Thanksgiving. It was delicious. I'm sure yours was too!

I'll put the rag rug near my kitchen sink.

The rug is actually a locker hooking rug. You have a large needle with a string through the end and you pull up the material from the bottom and make a loop. The string goes through the loop and "locks" it in place. It is a good project for doing while you are watching a movie.
