This Thursday, we went to our local nature center. That day, the children learned about Ecology. Here they are seeing how air, sun, deer, squirrels, trees, streams, etc are all interrelated.
Then we went outside and had a kind of scavenger hunt. We had to find things that were round and rough, fuzzy and prickly, red, sounds of birds, etc. It was fun and we found some cool things but my battery gave out in the cold weather and this is all I got.
Back in the warm building and with fresh batteries, I took this picture of the children getting sunflowers to plant. They are supposed to put one of their pots in the sun and the other in a darker room and see how each plant grows.
