Another day in paradise
We've had another beautiful day here. We got the weeding finished and the watering done and enjoyed lunch on the porch.
We've also already been to the post office and picked up the new Star Wars stamps much to the delight of all of the children. And planted the pie pumpkins. Now we only have to plant the second plantning of corn and we'll be done with the planting phase of the garden.

your grass is green!!! it looks like mid-september down here. it's so dry that everyone is getting a little edgy about it. we had about ten minutes of rain the other day (the first in, what, six weeks?) and we all just cheered and cheered.
very little beats the michigan summers. the temperature is warm and cool at the same time depending upon whether you have a breeze, and the air feels fresh and clean.
