Green beans and cabinets
Today is my planning day. Well, it started out as my planning day and turned into my getting new cabinets day, green bean canning day, finish sorting clothes day, and a little bit of planning day.
We had two cabinets fixed and two new ones installed. This is over the "pennisula" in our kitchen. Note: First batch of green beans is done.

Look at those beautiful jars of beans! There's something so gorgeous about rows and rows of canning jars filled with bright, beautiful food in vibrant colors! I can just imagine what your pantry looks like...maybe you should post a picture sometime when all is harvested...
Your cabinets are lovely, too, and extra storage space is always a welcome thing in a large family.
So what is "planning day?" Are you planning another vacation? Next year's school work? Another garden expansion?

Planning day is supposed to be planning for next year's school. I trade babysitting with another mom and she took my children today from 9-4 and then I take hers next week for the same amount of time.
It's always amazing what one can get done when one doesn't have to settle disputes, hand out bandaids, and supervise workers. :)
